Mapping Results

The New Hamphsire Broadband Mapping & Planning Program (NHBMPP) relies on the FCC definition of broadband for all map products.  In January of 2015, the FCC adopted a new definition of broadband - 25 Mbps down and 3 Mbps up.  NHBMPP maps other internet access speeds, but does not categorize them as broadband.

In addition to the interactive mapping tool, the NHBMPP has produced a series of formatted map products that illustrate broadband availability based on various parameters.  The map below presents the technology offering the fastest advertised download speed to consumers in the state (exclusive of mobile wireless or cell providers).  It is based on data published by the FCC in the spring of 2017, representing broadband availability as of June 30, 2016.

The map above illustrates the broadband technology that offers that fastest download speed to consumers, based on FCC data current to June, 2016.
